The Opportunity

We’re looking for a curious and driven intern to join our product and AI team this summer. You’ll be working hands-on with the latest in machine learning and product innovation, contributing to meaningful projects with real business impact. This is not a coffee-fetching internship—this is a chance to work on a blank canvas.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams on two core initiatives:
• Product Recommendations: Explore, prototype, and test ways to introduce AI-powered product suggestions into our mortgage platform. This space is greenfield and ready for experimentation.
• Document Intelligence: Help scale and diversify our AI-based document handling PoCs. You’ll support in designing and testing prompts, models, or approaches to optimize accuracy, classification, and extraction.
• Accuracy Reporting in AI Models: Assist in implementing robust evaluation and reporting frameworks (e.g., precision, recall, F1-score tracking) to help productionize AI features more effectively.

Who You Are
• A student (or recent graduate) in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field
• Based in Belgium (requirement to come at least 1x/week to our office in Antwerp or Brussels)
• Familiar with Python and ML frameworks like scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Interested in AI applications in real-world, high-stakes environments like finance
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, startup-like environment
• Bonus: Experience with prompt engineering, document AI, or working with LLMs
